For the Owyhee River...including Mountain City...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Minor flooding along the river channel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:55 PM PDT Monday the stage was 7.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall to 7.3 feet Monday, May 06. It
    will then rise to 7.4 feet Tuesday, May 07. It will fall to
    7.2 feet Wednesday, May 08. It will then rise above flood
    stage late this afternoon to 8.1 feet Wednesday, May 08. It
    will fall below flood stage late this evening.
